Fluffy Cream Cheese Frosting


This is the basic Fluffy Cream Cheese Frosting recipe. I love cream cheese frosting except most of the time its so thick and sweet it just kills whatever you put it on. So this is my alternative, lighter, fluffier and less sweet version. Note that it does NOT get hard like conventional frostings, it stays soft.

8 oz. of cream cheese

2 cups confectioners’ sugar

1/2 or 4 oz. Cool whip

Leave cream cheese come to room temp.

Sift in 1 cup of confectioners’ sugar

Mix well

Sift in other cup of confectioners’ sugar

Mix well

Stir in half container cool whip, blend

Then frost.
