This is an easy alternative to a classic comfort food. I usually like to make this on cold rainy or snowy days but since its made in a crock pot, you can make it just about any time you are in the mood.

1 lb. of chicken breast, pounded and cut into bite sized pieces.
2 10oz cans of condensed cream of chicken soup
1.5 cup of chicken broth
1 small onion roughly diced
2 stalks celery, sliced
2 soup carrots, sliced
1 10oz package mushrooms, washed and quartered
2 tbsp. of corn starch mixed with a ¼ cup water.
1/2 can of refrigerated biscuit dough, each piece cut into quarters.
In a crockpot put, chicken broth, cream of chicken soup, onion, celery, carrots, mushrooms and chicken breast. Turn on High for 4 to 5 hours depending on how hot your crockpot runs. At about 4 hours add the cornstarch and water mixture and stir, let cook about a half hour. Add the biscuit dough and let cook 1 more hour or until dough is cooked through.
