Once again, how can you be a good cook and not make something for the Puppies! This is another very easy recipe for doggie cookies that my boys just love. Between the Peanut butter and banana, they are much more healthy than the ones you buy in the store and dogs go crazy over them!

Peanut butter banana cookies for doggy
1 Large Egg 1 Medium Banana 1/3 Cup of Creamy or Crunchy Peanut Butter 1 Tbs of Pure Maple Syrup 1 Cup Seven Grain pancake mix - I used Red Mill Brand 1/2 Cup Rolled Quick Oats 1 Egg White w/ 2 tbs water lightly beaten for egg wash Instructions: Preheat the oven to 300* and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl remove skin from banana and mash Combine in same bowl, banana, large egg, peanut butter, and syrup until smooth. Scrap down sides of bowl with spatula and stir in flour and oats. Transfer to a clean surface and knead with more flour until the mixture is no longer sticky. Roll out dough on a floured surface so that the dough is about a 1/4" thick. Cut shapes with clean cookie cutters and place on baking sheet. You can place many on the sheet as these will not expand. Brush the tops with the egg wash (optional) Bake for 25 to 30 minutes until hard and crunchy Store in an airtight container. Yields about 30 medium cookies depending on the size of your cookie cutters
